- The creation of our comic has been a long journey and is far from over. Jason Sutherland and I (Kevin Jones) met about 10 years ago. From the moment we had a chance to sit down and have a chat we found out that the way we think, we live, we create were almost the same, from then on we became so close that I have no problem calling Jason family. We have put a lot of love, energy and effort into this project and we both believe in our hearts that we have made something special that will draw our readers in and keep them there. In these 10 years we have laid the foundation not only for this series, The Emerald City, but we have crafted a world in which we can tell a countless number of stories; something we both dream of doing. After we met, we decided to work together; then life got in the way. Both of us put ourselves through college and amazingly enough both of us moved to Japan, where we continued our life’s work. In this blog you will get glimpses of our current book, and the world that it is set in. We love bouncing ideas off of each other until we make something that we feel is quality and are open to criticism as well as praise. -Kevin M. Jones -Jason Sutherland
